Ship Shape Community Space, Philadelphia PA - Unbuilt
SHIP / SHAPE aims at providing a dynamic series of community support nodes to catalyze a revitalization throughout the greater Mantua/Belmont neighborhood of Philadelphia.
Phase I : First, we select a site to address the neighborhood’s issues/problems (in accordance to maps shown in slides). Second, we invite and host steering committee meeting to address neighborhood insight and concerns.
Phase II : Transport a temporary structure to site. The temporary structure provides shelter and security for its members and program.
Phase III : Once the temporary structure and community program evolve and grow, the temporary structure becomes permanent.
